2009 - Sound Environmental Management Resource Implementation
In line with Praxima's macro Corporate Social Investment (CSI) objective of coordinating a meaningful programme that encourages all South Africans to recognise and value the integrity of information, Praxima joined forces with Champions of the Environment Foundation, a non-profit community driven partner who is willing to promote and implement the values of assuring integrity.

This partnership consists partly of Praxima mentoring the autonomous and apolitical organization. Praxima provides administrative services to Champions of the Environment Foundation, handling payments, and payroll as well as report back functions on an outsourced basis.

As their administration partner Praxima will enhance the creation of sustainable social investment and provide sponsors with access to reports, allowing for transparent measurement of their objectives. Specific projects managed by Champions of the Environment Foundation -- which complement the government policies of transformation -- will allow communities to uplift their own lives by accessing these dynamic opportunities.

Praxima's commitment to the environment comes to life by making skilled professionals available and ensuring transparency at all times with financial and operational issues pertaining to the Champions of the Environment Foundation.

2005 - Empowerment of Women
Beginning in 2005, Praxima has actively sponsored initiatives acknowledging women who have the courage to change their lives and take responsibility for their present and future.

Training, recognition and accountability are fundamental to developing self-esteem and these principles are applied internally at the company, encouraging women to achieve their full potential.

Gender Equity and Empowering Women
Praxima is committed to developing individuals, especially women as they are the backbone of the family unit and contribute significantly to the workforce and the workplace. A high ratio of women employees in Praxima makes it even more relevant for the company to empower women. This takes place via the support of initiatives and organizations that focus on gender issues.
